A little About the Artist

Hello from beneath a pile of paper and paint. I fear this has been the way for most of my life !

My name is Liz and I am an Artist, a writer, a teacher and a mum. After a career in teaching Art in schools was cut short in my 40's by an auto immune condition: I decided to get back to my true love of creating and working in the community. I am now immersed in my Art and Design work, write and illustrate poetry and stories, manage two successful blogs and teach Art classes. Determined that immobility was not going to stop my creative path, it is my aim to help others do the same.

And this is where we have lived for the last few years. St Abbs near Coldingham in the Scottish Borders. Although a tad chilly, I think you'll agree the light and colours more than make up for the lack warmth. This has been a chapter that kept us cocooned in Covid and perpetually inspired with ideas and visual feasts.
